You will learn more of me than you would ever want to know by reading my blog entries, although that is not the purpose of my blog. I primarily write the blog to record things I observe or experience that I want to remember and that I think might also be of interest to someone else. It turns out this is also a nice way for me to capture memories of my daily life, and to reflect and learn from those things at a later date. For the most part I write about things that help increase my own understanding, that inspire me to aspire to do and be better, or simply things that I enjoy. My intent is that The Greg Jones Blog not be political in nature - - I may write about things that are political in nature, but my motive is not to advocate a political view, but is instead to document information that develops my understanding of the world. This is particularly true, for example, when I write my "Quasi-Weekly Listener's Digest" posts.
