“Don’t be a Helicopter, Bulldozer or Snowplow Parent for Your College Student”

Last night ar Roundtable (basically a monthly training meeting for adult leaders in Scouting) there was an interesting presentation on millennials.

I’d not heard the terms “bulldozer parent” or “snowplow” parent before last night.

“[The bulldozer] parent works to [obliterate] all obstacles in their child’s path to success . . . This type of parent is a particular favorite of college administrators.”
