“[There] are still too many questions about him as a passer to warrant a draft pick.” – – Pre-draft analysis of Dak Prescott (Updated)

I have not been following the NFL’s 2016 season that closely, but I have noticed that the Dallas Cowboys’ rookie quarterback Dak Prescott has been doing great.

I did not follow the NFL draft that closely this year either, but do know that Prescott was not drafted  until the fourth round or so, and that the Cowboys had actually wanted to draft Paxton Lynch in the first round.

I decided to see what the “experts” were saying about Prescot before the NFL draft.

Did not “warrant a draft pick”??????

Excerpt:  Strides were made in the passing game, but Prescott still sits behind most of the passers in this draft class. He does add an intriguing element as a runner, particularly in the designed run game, but there are still too many questions about him as a passer to warrant a draft pick.

Update (20161017)
