Yesterday in Church a man who recently read this book shared this anecdote to illustrate the humorous personality of Lev Aronson, who after the war had a long career as a respected cellist, and was not bitter over the years he spent in camps during World War II.

By asking for a receipt, I believe Lev Aronson also demonstrates smart aleck greatness.
