This is from an article on how lawyers should perform initial client interviews:
When I recently had a chance to discuss this topic with [Oklahoma Bar Association] General Counsel Dan Murdock, he said that demonstrating the ideals of the Boy Scouts was probably the best way during the initial interview to impress a client and make them believe that they should retain you. After reviewing the Boy Scout Law, I decided that he had a very good point. The Boy Scout Law states: “A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent.”
