Friday Night Lights

By gregjonesorg

I drove to Salt Lake City to see the Christmas lights at Temple Square.

On the way, I passed Thanksgiving Point, located in Lehi to the west of I-15. They have beautiful Christmas lights themselves (See http://media.bonnint.net/slc/788/78849/7884948.JPG).

The lights at Temple Square were wonderful as always (See http://messengerandadvocate.wordpress.com/2008/11/30/temple-square-christmas-lights/).  In the Assembly Hall a choir from Madison High School in Rexburg, Idaho performed (See http://www.lds.org/calendar/display/0,5050,100013–5221624,00.html?date=Fri+Dec+12+2008&monthIndex=12)

Once home I tried to look up a clip on youtube.com that was described in an e-mail I received. In reality, the e-mail dealt with an essay by CBS Morning News commentator Ben Stein (See http://www.benstein.com/121805xmas.html), but I mistakenly came upon a video about a man who has produced an amazingly elaborate and large Christmas lights display, and corresponding high traffic volume, at his home in Murray, Utah (See http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=cbs+sunday+morning+christmas+&search_type=&aq=f).
